As part of the Coastal Connections project, join the NPT Wildlife team and the Gower Ornothological Society for a winter bird walk at Baglan Bay! Experience the beauty of coastal birdwatching as we explore the sandy shores and spot a variety of seabirds and waders.
Whether you're a seasoned birder or a nature enthusiast, this guided walk offers the perfect opportunity to find out a bit more about our wonderful bird life in Swansea Bay and observe local wildlife in its natural habitat.
We will be keeping an eye out for:
- Waders including sanderling, oystercatcher, ringed plover, dunlin and curlew
- Waterfowl including shelduck, great crested grebe, little egret, grey heron, common scoter, red-throated diver
- Birds of prey including peregrine falcon and kestrel
