About the event
oin our nature walk so you can be in nature, understand it better and love your local area more. We will get to understand the importance of wetland peat reserves and its importance to carbon storage. We will use a Microbiometer to understand the surface soil. We will also look for for the early signs of spring and consider climate change in action. We will also get to know the heritage of the site better.
We will meet at the entrance to the local nature reserve at 16:30. We will provide you with a hot drink if you would like one! There is ample parking. The paths are likely to be muddy, so please be prepared walking and if possible for participants to be relatively steady on their feet. We aim to be together for about 1.5 hours.
